Acceptance

By using Saathi (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Saathi is operated by Avighna Digital Private Limited.

What Saathi Does

Saathi is a group trip coordination tool. It helps you plan trips, track shared expenses, and manage trip documents with friends and family. Saathi is NOT a financial institution. We do not process payments, hold funds, or provide financial advice.

Expense tracking in Saathi is a ledger, not a payment system. When you record that “Arjun owes Maya $45,” Saathi tracks that information. The actual money transfer happens between you and your friends through your own payment methods (bank transfer, UPI, cash, etc.).

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you share a trip link, anyone with that link can view the trip. Do not share trip links publicly if your trip contains sensitive information.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (documents, photos). By uploading content to a trip, you grant other trip members the right to view and download that content.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

If you believe content in a trip violates these terms, use the “Report” feature on the document or write to us via the support page.

Expense Disputes

Saathi provides tools to track and split expenses. Disputes about expenses or settlements are between the trip members involved. Saathi does not arbitrate financial disputes. We provide the data; you resolve disagreements with your friends.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Saathi for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious files or content
• Attempt to access other users’ data outside of shared trips
• Abuse the nudge system to harass other users
• Create automated accounts or bots
• Reverse engineer the application

Service Availability

We aim to keep Saathi available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.

Limitation of Liability

Saathi is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: incorrect expense calculations, lost documents, or disputes between trip members.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is $0 for free users).

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile > Delete My Account). We may also terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
